it's my second rest day straight in a row and had been spending time sleeping til late noon, catching a few movie online. i'm totally drained out from my bangkok trip plus work. additional responsibility do add further burden to one's mind.

october going to be a month whereby a major choice is being decide. come november and it shall be another turning point of my life, i do hope.

true to one's roots

with regards to my job scope, i had to meet with all kind of people from different sector. from vice president to technician with some certain kind of steady income. yesterday, i came across someone who taught me the importance of being humble. that person was an indian pr, working in citibank as a manager, earning around 125k per annual which can be deem as a high income by most average household in singapore. he came to me as a referral but don't be mistaken, there wasn't one bit modest about this person at all. instead, he portray himself to me as an unreasonable and arrogant bastard. there was a little debate between us which i do find it as very unreasonable for someone who is earning around 10k per month. i stood my ground but still trying to maintain my form of professionalism and the uglier side of human nature began to surface out from him.

he made me realise the lacking of humbleness towards one another in the society of today. when one became successful or rich, how many can really be true to their roots but i still do believe that there are still a certain minority who are maintaining that kind of good character within them. money and fame changes a person. i do hope that if really there comes a day when i became successful in my own way, i can still remember the teaching of yesterday and right now, everything had been going smoothly for me.

very tired but contented for now.

we are going to bangkok again this october. i can confirm that i went to siam paragon more time than i ever step into our own orchard paragon this year.

i can't believe that i slept through almost the whole day. i guess it's going to be the last off day for this month. 130... this number will keep ringing inside my mind until the last day of september.

fuck, i felt that i really need to cut down on my weight. i'm getting fat.

i had nearly forgotten about the existence of this very blog of mine until andy reminded me a few days ago. been so busy with work that nothing else seem important anymore. i really ought to learn to relax myself a bit more and a short holiday is what i need again. planning is on the way and most likely, i won't be around in singapore again for the last few days of september.

this had been a hectic month. i had been working non-stop and i can't remember when was the last time i do enjoy what i called a off day. going back office even during off day seem to be a bit stupid to most people but looking back, all the effort i had put in seem worthwhile. i vowed to take down the title for top sales this month and it seem to be already within my reach. maybe it was just something which i needed to prove to myself that i had not choose a wrong route which had always been haunting me. i really needed a short break and so...

i know it's kinda weird typing my entry at this early hours of the day. just reach home not long ago and awaiting for my hair to get dry before throwing myself into the embrace of my cosy bed. i think i'm really sucks at mahjong. as foresee by myself, i was the biggest loser for the night. for now, i think i shall just stick to the mahjong game in my iphone til i had attain another level of skill for the game.

these few days or rather should i say, these past few weeks, i had been pondering over where my future lies. i looked myself in the mirror sometimes and thinking back on the decisions i have made. did i make the right choice? there was times when i question myself and feeling lost in directions. even now, i was given better opportunity to turn back. most human beings would usually take the more easier route out but i had to admit that i was probably not normal. friends had labelled me silly for refusing such a good offer in such an uncertainty economy now. well, a person sometimes had to fall and be stamped on before he can start to see things at another kind of way when he rose again. looking back, there may be some doubts on myself sometimes but i'm glad that i have no true regrets and the light at the end of the tunnel seem to be clearer.

so sorry for the little update. been so busy lately and basically, time is never enough for me now. no rest day for this week due to lack of manpower and the never ending roadshows. sleeping 6 hours had become a norm and i do miss the 8 to 9 hours sleep i once had.

and not to mention that i still had no time to cut my hair...

sorry. i haven't been updating often. been quite busy with roadshow, roadshow and more roadshow. tiring but i'm loving it. i'm becoming more like a workaholic and in my mind, it's only cashplus, cashplus and more cashplus now.

i decided to retain back my old number and i have to offer my apology to those who had already edited and had to edit once again in their phonebook yesterday. i have been receiving some sms reply from friends cursing me. too bad, i'm just that kind of person who will always have some sentiment towards things that i have been holding on to for a long time and i can foresee myself still having this number for years to come.

i'm back from bangkok last night and if time abide me, i really somehow wish i could stay a bit longer there. I really felt fortunate, born and raise in singapore but somehow, there is always seem to be a better world outside. every time i went overseas, there were always a great deal of life experience to learn from. I probably might be going back to bangkok again this year. a promise i made.

Think will upload the pictures from my sony dslr camera when i go figure it out on how to transfer it to my laptop. too lazy to read the instruction manual right now.

yeah! i have just received the news that mis had accepted me into the school and the course is starting in less than a month time. come to think of it, i had not been a student for more than 10 years and all of a sudden, i feel so nervous...

finally, 2 off days straight. i had been working non-stop for a week plus and this short break does come at a good time. so many things had happen within this few weeks and i really needed some time alone to straighten out some thoughts that are lingering within me. it may sound ironic coming from my mouth but i do feel myself becoming more sensible. there will always bound to be some time when you will feel lost and dejected but once you can manage to overcome this obstacle, you will see life at a different kind of angle again.

just to update. i'm going back to school after nearly a 10 years gap. do not laugh. i'm dead serious this time and only the bloody school stand between me and my goal. i may still get rejected for some whatsoever reason and i keeping my fingers cross.

i'm feeling extremely nervous right now and i can feel my heartbeat pounding rapidly. my mind keep thinking of tomorrow. it's gonna be a day to decide if i am going to have another card inside my wallet.

i had always complaint in the past about how tired and how no life bloody giordano was. this was even slightly worse. i had already began to miss the past 4 months life i had. hopefully by the end of the month, i can be able to see good results and normally, good results eventually do leads to good money too.

saw roy today also and yes, i'm still as grateful to him as ever. there isn't always someone who came into your life and do made a difference. just glad to bump into him again and i do wish him well in future too.

time to sleep now and tomorrow, another cycle of life will be repeating itself once again.
